- 7.5 Applications of multiple integration
- 8.1 Vector fields
- 8.2 Line integrals
- 8.3 Vector operators: div, grad and curl
- 8.4 Operator identities
- 8.5 Divergence theorem (Gauss)
- 8.6 Green's theorem and Stokes' theorem
- 8.7 Applications, including an introduction to fluid motion
- 30% Homework
- 30% Midterm (on Multiple Integration) in class, date TBA
- 40% Final (comprehensive, emphasis on Vector Calculus) 9 - 11 am March 21, 2002
- No late homework or make-up exams except for excused absences.
- You may discuss homework problems, but every student is expected to write up his/her homework individually - failure to do so may result in loss of credit.
